The 2nd GETPPP-Green School Energy and Environment Policies Joint Workshop was held on Jeju Island from May 21-23, 2016. The GETPPP and Green School Energy and Environment Policies​ students presented their research proposals. Green School faculty and students provided feedback to presenters about their research proposal and timeline.

The workshop also included field visits across Jeju Island​, which included the smart grid and renewable energy systems

On May 23, the GETPPP students presented about their respective countries in a special session at the Korean Society for New and Renewable Energy. International students from the KU-GETPPP and SNU-IEPP (Seoul National University - International Energy Policy Program) presented upon their respective countries national renewable energy policies. The presentations included countries from Vietnam, Mongolia, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, and others.
