On August 31st, BK21 PLUS 9th Ph.D. Conference was held at College of Political Science and Economics of Korea University. It was a big event with students attending from various universities in Korea and Japan. Presenters were from Korea University, Pusan National University, Chonnam National University, Waseda Unviersity and The University of Tokyo. Two GETPPP students also had a chance to present at this conference. Enkhtuvshin Ganbaatar presented “Causality relationship between energy consumption and economic growth: The case of transition countries” and Hai Tung Mai presented “Hydropower development in Vietnam in terms of Sustainable Development.” After the long sessions ended, a buffet dinner was served at Media Hall.
