GETPPP students of KU-KIST Graduate School of Energy and Environment (Green School) went on a field trip to the beautiful island of Jeju from September 26th to 28th. GETPPP students visited KOSPO (Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd.)’s Jeju Power plant. They watched the video and presentation of KOSPO to understand Korea’s electricity market status. GETPPP students attended the MOU ceremony between KU-KIST Graduate School of Energy and Environment and Jeju Energy Corporation and seminars, and they had an opportunity to listen from experts about Korea’s renewable energy plan. On the last day of the field trip, GETPPP students visited Jeju Energy Corporation’s wind power plant and Renewable Energy PR Center to experience Jeju’s unique renewable energy resources.
