GETPPP students visited Korea South-East Power Company on May 25, 2023. Korea South-East Power is a major energy conglomerate in South Korea, actively pursuing its energy transition plan with a strong focus on efficiency innovation, hydrogen, and CCUS as key implementation projects. GETPPP students discussed activities related to Korea South-East Power's carbon-neutral roadmap and participation in a Korean-style taxonomy pilot project.
 During their visit, the students had the opportunity to explore the facilities and gain insights into the state of renewable energy infrastructure at the Yeongheung Power Plant Headquarters. They also observed the coal ash recycling process. Additionally, they explored the Energy Park on Yeongheung Island and the Yeongheung Power Plant headquarters. |
