On June 24, 2025, the KU-GETPPP program held its graduation ceremony at the KU R&D Center, marking the successful completion of the academic year for both master’s and doctoral students. The event was attended by approximately 60 participants, including faculty members, administrative staff, mentors, students, and the graduates’ families.

The ceremony began with warm greetings and academic recognition for the 14 graduates. Degrees were awarded to 10 master’s students and 4 doctoral students, celebrating their academic achievements and contributions. Several professors, mentors, and faculty members joined to offer congratulatory messages, reflecting the global and interdisciplinary nature of the program.

The valedictory address underscored the graduates’ commitment to addressing pressing global issues such as climate change, sustainable development, and energy equity. The event concluded with a farewell message and a shared meal, reinforcing the strong bonds within the KU-GETPPP community.​

Participants included KU faculty, administrative staff, mentors, families of the graduates, and current GETPPP students from countries including Cambodia, Botswana, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Mongolia, Vietnam, Nepal, Solomon Islands, Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Uzbekistan.​

This ceremony served as a meaningful milestone for the KU-GETPPP program, celebrating not only the academic success of its graduates but also their potential to drive impactful change in the global energy and environmental sectors.
